American Association of Community Colleges (AACC)
AACC works with other higher education associations, the federal government, Congress, and other national associations that represent the public and private sectors to promote the goals of community colleges and higher education. Provides a national focus and an agenda that promotes, supports, and advances the cause of its member colleges.
Association of Community College Trustees (ACCT)
An organization which "exists to develop effective lay governing board leadership to strengthen the capacity of community colleges to achieve their missions on behalf of their communities."
Center for Innovation in Career Development, The University At Albany
The Center's mission is to support the successful transition of all learners to postsecondary education and/or employment opportunities through the development and delivery of innovative career-related resources and programs. The Center assists New York State educational and workforce preparation agencies through research, professional development, technical assistance, and resource dissemination.

Community Colleges for International Development, Inc. (CCID)
A program whose mission is to "...provide opportunities for building global relationships that strengthen educational programs, and promote economic development." The CCID "is dedicated to strengthening colleges and their communities through international education for economic and human resource development."
Cornell Higher Education Research Institute
Links to CHERI, an affiliation of Cornell faculty from five different colleges formed in 1998 to further interdisciplinary research on higher education.
Education Commission of the States, Center for Community College Policy
The Center for Community College Policy, based at the Education Commission of the States in Denver, Colorado, has been created to support the development of public policy that encourages the development of effective and innovative community colleges across the United States.

League for Innovation in the Community College
The purpose of the League is to make innovation a continuing priority on the agenda of community colleges. Members of the Alliance are involved in reviewing and exploring current issues through publications, conferences, and projects. They are the host of the national events Conference on Information Technology, the Innovations conference, and the Executive Leadership Institute program. League publications which are available online include Leadership Abstracts, Learning Abstracts, Innovator, and Catalyst.
National Association for Community College Entrepreneurship (NACCE)
The National Association for Community College Entrepreneurship (NACCE) connects community college administrators and faculty with knowledge and successful practices regarding entrepreneurial thinking, entrepreneurship education, and student business incubation. NACCE holds an annual conference, hosts a dynamic list-serv, develops web resources such as shared entrepreneurship curricula and syllabi for faculty, creates guides in beginning and sustaining entrepreneurship and student business incubation programs, as well as, tips for grant proposals specific to entrepreneurial endeavors at community colleges.
National Council for Staff, Program and Organizational Development (NCSPOD)
An affiliate council of the American Association of Community Colleges (AACC). Our mission is to increase institutional vitality by providing professional growth opportunities for members, enabling them to establish, enhance, and/or revitalize staff, program, and organizational development in their organizations.
National Institute For Leadership Development (NILD)
NILD provides leadership programs based upon a philosophy of inclusivity and diversity for women and men in community colleges.
National Institute for Staff and Organizational Development
Created in 1978 with initial grants from the W.K. Kellogg Foundation and the Fund for the Improvement of Post Secondary Education, the National Institute for Staff and Organizational Development (NISOD) is a non-profit, tax-exempt consortium of colleges and universities that share a philosophical commitment to support excellence in teaching, learning, and leadership.
SUNY Faculty Council of Community Colleges
The Faculty Council of Community Colleges is composed of faculty from the 30 community colleges of the State University of New York. Representatives from each college meet to discuss issues of importance and serve as an active voice for community colleges.
