Grants Received by ICCD
ICCD received a grant from the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation to publish the proceedings from our February 2006 CEO Retreat, "The Entrepreneurial President." Copies of the proceedings were sent to all community college presidents, state directors, and association leaders in the United States. (Click here to download a pdf of the proceedings.)
The Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation also generously provided additional funds for ICCD's 2006 Applied Research Grant Program specifically for projects that address entrepreneurship programs and entrepreneurial strategies at community colleges. Six applied research projects related to community college entrepreneurship were funded this year.
ICCD received a one-year grant from the Heinz Endowments in January 2005 to develop criteria for assessing community college workforce development leadership and initiatives. The grant resulted in an implementation design.
