Successful Teaching Conference

This annual one day conference is co-sponsored by the teaching and learning centers of Broome, Corning, Onondaga and Tompkins Cortland Community Colleges of New York. Full and part-time faculty share their expertise and offer innovative teaching techniques in small groups. Themes of active learning, student learning assessment and integrating technology are explored.
Past conferences have included The Essentials of Community College Labor Relations, A New Era of Accountability, The Entrepreneurial College, the Entrepreneurial President, the Leadership Academy, the Administrative Leadership Program (now the Leadership Issues series), Leading from Within, Project Management, the Successful Teaching Conference, the Leadership Academy, Leadership Tools for Women, and other executive education seminars. Online programs have included webinars and a certificate course with eCornell, "Proactive Leadership in Higher Education."
