This program will be led by faculty from the internationally-recognized School of Industrial and Labor Relations at Cornell University who have worked directly with community colleges as negotiations consultants and arbitrators.

They will utilize case studies, role playing and small groups to provide participants with hands-on experiences.

Presenters will include:

Topics will include: 

  • Alternative Dispute Resolution
  • Documentation
  • Progressive Discipline, and
  • Writing Contract Language

This program expands upon last fall's conference, "The Essentials of Community College Labor Relations,"  and deals more specifically with the successful writing and administration of negotiated contracts.
