CALL FOR PROPOSALS

The Teaching Centers of Broome Community College, Corning Community College, and Tompkins Cortland Community College and the Institute for Community College Development (ICCD) at Cornell University.

The Successful Teaching Conference provides opportunities for community college faculty to share ideas and practices. It is professional development for faculty and practitioners by faculty and practitioners. On Thursday evening and Friday, using a variety of presentation styles and formats—workshop, plenary, and small-group sharing sessions—we will explore some of the learner centered innovations and successes on our campuses and in our college classrooms.

GUIDELINES
• All presenters and co-presenters must register for the conference.
• All proposals will be reviewed by the Proposal Review Committee.
• Submission deadline is April 21, 2008.
• All presentations should integrate audience interaction into the workshop.
• All presentations are 60 minutes.

Participants from BCC, CCC and TC3 should send completed proposals to their campus teaching centers.
