Women's Giving Circles: Becoming a Prominent Way to Help Others PowerPoint presentation

This is the fourth annual Leadership Tools for Women, an ICCD conference designed specifically for women working in higher education who wish to heighten their understanding of the contemporary issues facing women as they move to assume leadership roles in their institutions. This day-long program will help women gain greater knowledge and understanding about women's participation in politics and how to enhance their influence and leadership in public life.

Featured speaker Teena Cahill, Director of Wisdom and Beyond, will present “Women Taking the Lead: Wisdom for Everyday Leadership and Peak Performance.” More information on Teena can be found at http://www.teenacahill.com/.

Since 2008 is an election year, we are focusing on women taking a lead, getting into the electoral process, media attitudes and the image of women, conventional wisdom and grooming women leaders for leadership positions. A panel of women politicians will also look at specific and practical solutions to getting more women into the electoral process.
