Chris Halladay
Senior Director of Human Resources/Organizational Effectiveness, Human Resource Development Services and Organization Effectiveness, Cornell University Finance & Administration (CUFA). CUFA is an organization of ~2,000 staff within four major divisions (Safety, Health, Environment, and Risk Management (SHERM); Business Services; Facilities Services; Division of Financial Affairs; Cornell Information Technologies) and three departments (Audit Office, Investment Office, Division Administration).

Chris holds a Masters of Organizational Behavior degree from the Marriott School of Management at Brigham Young University. He has been an active OD practitioner in industry, state government, and higher education for 19 years on both coasts. He finds most excitement in developing leaders and building systems to help people achieve their goals. Chris also holds a BA in International Relations. Prior to his current position, he was the Director of Organizational Development at Western Washington University for 10 years. Of late he has been able to assist in building programs that connect U.S. universities with community building opportunities in Central America.

Chris holds certifications in Low Ropes, PI (Predictive Index), Power and Systems: The Organization Workshop, the Haygroup’s ECI (Emotional competency Indicator), Arbinger Institute: Leadership and Self Deception, Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), and SYMLOG (SYstematic MultiLevel Observation of Groups). He is a member of National Consortium for Continuous Improvement (NCCI) in higher education. He is an executive coach for the Executive MBA and MBA Cornell University Johnson Graduate School of Management Executive Education Program MBA and EMBA leadership courses, National Grocers Association, and National Association of Convenience Stores through the Food Industry Management System.

Dr. Kathy Burkgren
Manager, Organizational Learning & Development (OL&D) for Cornell University Finance & Administration (CUFA).

Kathy holds a Ph.D. from Cornell University in educational psychology and organizational behavior. She practices organizational development and effectiveness at Cornell and in for-profit and not-for-profit organizations, facilitating leadership and management development programs, team building and strategic planning retreats, forums, and events as well as being a strategic partner with division, college, department, and unit leaders to develop and implement strategic plans/priorities. Her passion is working with individuals, leaders, teams, and organizations to implement strategy, continuously improve, and create sustainable leadership.

Her OD and OE work is built on 14 years of work in the areas of marketing, communications, and administration which includes six years working with the Cornell University Building & Properties Board of Trustee Committee. Jessica Lang, PHR
Recruitment and Employment Specialist and Survey Support Administrator, Cornell University Finance & Administration (CUFA).

Jessica has a BS in Organizational Management from Keuka College and is working on a MBA at Ithaca College. She specializes in employment and recruitment as well as survey project management, data analysis, and reporting. She has accepted invitations to present to national audiences on her innovations in survey support for higher education.
